In this role, you will be compensated at a rate of $18.95 per hour, with a potential increase following your first 90 days. Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, starting at 7:30 AM until completion of deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
• Carefully unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, placing items in designated storage areas at customer locations.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs of product throughout your shift.
• Comfort with driving and working in varying weather conditions and making frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of residence, with appropriate endorsements if necessary.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment testing, including drug screening and background checks.
• No more than two convictions for traffic violations within the past two years; no DUI convictions in the past three years; no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years.
• While commercial driving experience is not required, one year of multi-stop delivery experience or six months of local delivery and/or foodservice experience is preferred.
• Previous hand cart delivery experience is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet customer needs.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English as it relates to the position and safety regulations.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
