Main Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Methodically unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and accurately place items in designated storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and secure necessary signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers when required.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct all pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights ranging from 20 to over 80 pounds repetitively during shifts.
  • Comfort in driving and working in varying weather conditions, with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is mandatory.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence, along with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience is required, or three months specifically within the food and beverage delivery sector.
  • Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred and may be required in certain locations.
  • Proficiency in reading and communicating effectively in English is essential—candidates should be able to hold conversations, understand traffic signs, respond to official inquiries, and accurately document information.
