Schedule

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home returns.
  • Typical schedule is 4 days on, 12 hours each day.
  • Saturday deliveries may be required.
  • Coverage for driver vacations may involve some night routes and overnight hotel accommodations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Carefully unload products from trailers using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, placing them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers where applicable.
  • Provide professional customer service to enhance client experiences.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of products repetitively throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions, with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is mandatory.*
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (in any industry) or three months of experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is preferred; may be required in certain locations.
  • Proficient in reading and communicating in English, capable of understanding highway traffic signs, responding to official inquiries, and completing reports and records.
