Schedule Details:

  • Approximately 85% of driver routes allow for daily home returns.
  • Typical work schedule includes four 12-hour shifts per week.
  • Saturday deliveries are often necessary.
  • Coverage for vacationing drivers may include night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
  • Unload products using equipment such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks, and store them in designated areas at customer locations.
  • Ensure delivery accuracy through verification with customers and secure appropriate signatures.
  • Manage customer payments and collections as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client relationships.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull between 20 to 80+ lbs during shifts.
  • Comfortably drive and perform duties in varying weather conditions with frequent stops (10 or more per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration in the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid CDL Class A license issued by your state of residence is necessary, along with required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry or three months of experience specifically in food and beverage delivery is required.
  • Proficiency in operating a manual transmission is preferred and may be mandatory in certain locations.
  • Strong English language skills are essential for effective communication with customers and for understanding road signs and regulations.
