Compensation for this position is set at $25.55 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life insurance, a strong safety culture, and outstanding leadership support, among others.

Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes are home daily.
  • Typical schedule consists of 4 working days, 12 hours each.
  • Saturday deliveries may be required.
  • Vacation coverage for drivers may involve night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, placing them in designated storage areas at customer locations.
  • Ensure delivery accuracy by verifying orders with customers and obtaining necessary signatures.
  • Process collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, or pull between 20 to 80+ lbs of product throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions, with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is mandatory.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence, with required endorsements and DOT qualifications, is essential.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (in any industry) OR three months of commercial driving experience in food and beverage delivery is required.
  • Preference for operators capable of driving manual transmission; may be a requirement in certain locations.
  • Proficiency in reading and communicating in English is essential, including the ability to converse, comprehend highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports and records.
