Job Description
Job Title: CDL A Local Truck Driver – Immediate Opening
Company: Core-Mark
Location: Ypsilanti, MI
Pay: $24 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $24 for a “CDL A Local Truck Driver” position in Ypsilanti, MI, is generally considered below the average for this role in the region. As of 2023, local truck drivers with a CDL A license typically earn between $25 and $30 per hour, depending on experience, company, and demand. Factors such as the local cost of living, job benefits, and specific company compensation packages can also influence competitiveness. Therefore, while the offering may attract candidates for its immediacy, it may struggle to retain experienced drivers who can often command higher wages in a competitive market.
