Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home time.
  • Typical schedule consists of 4 days on, 12 hours each.
  • Saturday deliveries are often required.
  • Driver vacation coverage may necessitate some night routes and overnight stays at hotels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate vehicles to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Efficiently unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manual methods, ensuring items are placed in designated storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and secure necessary signatures.
  • Handle customer collections and payments as required.
  • Deliver professional customer service to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull between 20 to 80+ lbs. throughout each shift.
  • Comfort with driving and working in adverse weather conditions and making frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse*.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence, including necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • At least six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or a minimum of three months in the food and beverage delivery sector.
  • Preference for candidates who can operate manual transmission vehicles; this may be required in specific locations.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively, understand traffic signs, respond to official inquiries, and complete necessary documentation.
