Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes are home daily.
  • Typical schedule is 4×12.
  • Saturday deliveries are often required.
  • Vacation coverage for drivers may involve night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Main Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Safely drive trucks to customers while meeting scheduled delivery times.
  • Unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and place them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client experiences.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in adverse weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse* is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
  • Preference for candidates who can operate manual transmission; it may be required in specific locations.
  • Must possess strong English communication skills to engage in conversations, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to inquiries, and complete reports and records.
