Schedule Details:

  • 85% of Driver routes allow for daily home return.
  • Standard schedule typically consists of 4 days from 12-hour shifts.
  • Saturday deliveries are frequently required.
  • Driver vacation coverage may involve night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to meet scheduled delivery times to customers.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, ensuring they are placed in designated storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure safety and compliance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing between 20 to 80+ lbs. repeatedly throughout your shift.
  • Comfort with driving and working in varying weather conditions, necessitating frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class A license, issued by your state of legal residence, along with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or a minimum of three months in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
  • Preferable to have the ability to operate a manual transmission; this may be a requirement in certain locations.
  • Proficient in reading and communicating in English, capable of engaging professionally, understanding highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and accurately documenting information in reports and records.
