Schedule:

  • Approximately 85% of driver routes allow you to be home daily.
  • A typical schedule consists of four 12-hour shifts.
  • Saturday deliveries may be required regularly.
  • Coverage for driver vacations may necessitate some night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, ensuring accurate placement in designated storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain required signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct all pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20 to over 80 lbs. of product repeatedly during each shift.
  • Comfortable operating in adverse weather conditions and making frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a prerequisite.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
  • A valid CDL Class A license issued by your state of legal residence, complete with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications, is required.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months in the food and/or beverage delivery sector, is necessary.
  • Proficiency in operating a manual transmission is preferred, as it may be required in specific locations.
  • Must possess the ability to read and communicate in English, enabling you to engage in conversations, comprehend highway traffic signs, respond to official inquiries, and accurately record information.
