Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes are home daily.
  • Standard schedule typically consists of 4 shifts of 12 hours each.
  • Saturday deliveries may be required.
  • Drivers providing vacation coverage may need to take on some night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Main Ingredients of the Job:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and place them in designated storage areas at customer locations.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers, when applicable.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in adverse weather conditions, with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.*
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence, including necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (in any industry) OR three months of commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery sector.
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is preferred and may be required in specific locations.
  • Proficiency in reading and communicating in the English language, allowing for effective conversations, comprehension of highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and entering information on reports and records.
