Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home return.
  • Typical schedule consists of four 12-hour shifts per week.
  • Weekend deliveries are often required.
  • Coverage for driver vacations may entail some night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Efficiently unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and place them in specified customer storage areas.
  • Confirm delivery accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers as applicable.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client experiences.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing between 20 to 80+ lbs. repeatedly throughout each shift.
  • Comfort working and driving in inclement weather conditions, making frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is necessary.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
  • A valid CDL Class A license, issued by the state of legal residence, with the necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications is required.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry or three months of specific commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry is necessary.
  • Proficiency in operating a manual transmission is preferred and may be required in select locations.
  • Must possess strong English communication skills, including the ability to hold conversations, comprehend highway traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and accurately complete reports.
