Schedule:

  • Approximately 85% of driver routes allow for daily home time.
  • Typical shift consists of four 12-hour workdays.
  • Saturday deliveries may be required.
  • Vacation coverage may involve some nighttime routes and overnight hotel stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate delivery trucks to ensure timely customer deliveries.
  • Methodically unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, placing items in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and secure appropriate signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers as necessary.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance client relations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working under various weather conditions and making frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
  • A valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications, is mandatory.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months of experience specifically in the food and/or beverage delivery sector, is required.
  • Proficiency in operating a manual transmission is preferred and may be required in specific locations.
  • Must possess strong English communication skills for effective interaction, understanding of highway signs, responding to inquiries, and completing reports.
