Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home return.
  • Typical schedule is four 12-hour shifts.
  • Saturday deliveries are often required.
  • Coverage for driver vacations may include some night routes and overnight hotel accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers and adhere to scheduled delivery times.
  • Accurately unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, placing them in designated storage areas at customer locations.
  • Confirm the accuracy of deliveries with customers and secure required signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repeatedly throughout each shift.
  • Comfort in driving and working under inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required for all drivers.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence, including requisite endorsements and DOT qualifications, is mandatory.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry OR three months of experience in food and/or beverage delivery is required.
  • Proficiency in operating a manual transmission is preferred and may be required in certain locations.
  • Candidates must possess the ability to read and communicate effectively in English, which includes conversing, understanding highway signage, responding to official inquiries, and completing reports.
