Job Summary
The Fitness Trainer will oversee the Planet Fitness group fitness program, known as PE@PF. This role involves supporting new members in achieving their fitness goals by designing tailored workout programs and instructing them on the correct use of fitness equipment. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, ensuring adherence to the established schedule.
  • Engage with members to discuss their fitness goals and provide guidance on the safe and effective use of gym equipment.
  • Develop bi-weekly updates that include a diverse range of exercises.
  • Ensure class requirements are met in accordance with club size and member attendance.
  • Assist with front desk operations, which include:
    • Answering phone calls in a welcoming manner and addressing inquiries effectively.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Responding promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as appropriate.
