Job Title: Certified Veterinary Technician

Company: Gasow Veterinary Hospital

Location: Birmingham, MI

Pay: $22 – 25 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $22 to $25 for a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in Birmingham, MI, falls within the typical range for this profession, although it’s slightly below the national average, which generally ranges from $24 to $30 per hour depending on experience, location, and specific job duties. In Michigan, the average pay for veterinary technicians tends to be around $18 to $25 per hour, making this rate competitive but on the lower end, especially for those with more experience or specialized certifications. Given the cost of living in Birmingham and the global demand for veterinary services, this wage may attract candidates, but it could also be considered less appealing for more seasoned professionals seeking higher compensation.
