Job description:

As the Channel Marketing Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving wholesale business growth through strategic go-to-market initiatives. In this position, you will lead and manage programs designed to foster loyalty among the Outdoors brand and our wholesale channel partners. Additionally, you will collaborate with specific districts to develop marketing materials tailored to various channel customers, ultimately supporting the growth and expansion of the company’s brands, products, and services.

Your responsibilities will include providing strategic insights, developing project plans, and executing projects that enhance the performance of Outdoors dealers, builders, and contractors. This encompasses program development and management, omnichannel marketing efforts, and participation in industry shows and events. This is a hybrid position, requiring you to work three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from our Maumee, OH office.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives for dealer, builder, and contractor programs, encompassing program strategy, requirements, enhancements, promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive growth.
  • Develop and execute promotional strategies to increase sales of Outdoors products and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Support the creation and review of custom marketing literature and merchandising aids for assigned districts and channel partners.
  • Organize and manage local and regional shows, events, and customer engagements to ensure effective brand representation and customer interaction.
  • Create and oversee the tradeshow strategy for all Outdoors brands by collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external tradeshow vendors.
  • Manage the Tradeshow Kit/Tabletop Package Strategy for all Outdoors brands.
  • Oversee project budgets and marketing expenditures for assigned initiatives.
  • Prepare and present project updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors as necessary.
  • Collaborate with assigned districts and key customers to address field requests for marketing support.
  • Provide support for other marketing and sales initiatives as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or event marketing/trade shows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage traditional and digital marketing projects effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and capacity to work with complex products.
  • Proven experience coordinating trade shows or marketing events, including vendor management and marketing materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2C and/or B2B (channel) marketing.
  • Familiarity with project management and marketing production processes.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional team environments.

Additional Information:

The expected base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $84,700, although actual salaries may vary based on factors such as education, training, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, employees may participate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
