Job description:

As the Channel Marketing Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving wholesale business growth through the implementation of strategic go-to-market initiatives. In this role, you will lead and manage programs that foster loyalty to the Outdoors brand and our wholesale channel partners. Your collaboration with specific districts will involve developing marketing materials tailored to diverse channel customers, effectively supporting the growth and expansion of our brands, products, and services.

In this capacity, you will provide strategic insights, formulate project plans, and ensure the successful execution of initiatives that bolster the success of Outdoors dealers, builders, and contractors. This encompasses program development, management of omnichannel marketing efforts, and coordination of industry shows and events. As a Channel Marketing Specialist, you will be positioned for future advancement within the marketing function by integrating strategic planning into your daily responsibilities and project execution.

Location: This is a hybrid position, requiring attendance in our Maumee, OH office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Responsibilities:
The following tasks reflect approximately 80% of your role. Given the dynamic nature of our company, these responsibilities may evolve over time:

  • Lead programs for dealers, builders, and contractors, including strategy development, requirements, enhancements, promotions, and other marketing initiatives aimed at driving growth.
  • Develop and execute promotional campaigns that enhance Outdoors product sales and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Support the creation and evaluation of custom marketing literature and merchandising materials for assigned districts and channel partners.
  • Manage local and regional shows, events, and customer engagements for all Outdoors brands, ensuring effective brand representation, product selection, and customer interaction at each event.
  • Design and manage local and regional tradeshow strategies for Outdoors brands, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external tradeshow vendors.
  • Oversee the Tradeshow Kit/Tabletop Package Strategy for all Outdoors brands.
  • Administer project budgets and marketing expenditures related to assigned initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with outside agencies and vendors as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with assigned districts and key customers to address marketing support requests.
  • Assist with additional marketing and sales initiatives as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or event marketing/trade shows.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management and utilizing both traditional and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex products.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating trade shows or marketing events, including vendor relations and marketing materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2C and/or B2B (channel) marketing.
  • Background in project management and marketing production.
  • Creative and strategic thinking skills, with an aptitude for thriving in fast-paced, cross-functional team environments.

Actual salaries may vary based on factors including education, training, experience, professional achievements, business needs, and location.
