We are specifically seeking Caregivers specializing in Memory Care for the following 8-hour shifts:
- Day Shift (5:45 AM – 2:00 PM)
- Afternoon Shift with Shift Premium Pay (1:45 PM – 10:00 PM)
- Overnight Shift with Shift Premium Pay (9:45 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Weekend Warrior Shifts

Responsibilities:
As a Caregiver, you will provide compassionate dementia care that includes adapted activities of daily living (ADLs), meaningful engagement, and effective communication with residents, adhering to individual service plans. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, while promoting their independence.
- Participating in team meetings and engaging in discussions with community leadership.
- Getting to know residents’ life stories and preferences to personalize their care experience.
- Serving meals and assisting in meal preparation, encouraging proper nutrition and hydration while respecting each resident’s choices.
- Initiating or leading at least one engagement program daily that aligns with residents’ interests and fosters socialization.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of residents’ records and any observed changes in their health or behavior.
- Assisting residents with medication, if permitted by state law, while adhering to physicians’ orders and medication policies.
- Keeping a clean, safe, and orderly environment, including general housekeeping duties.
- Responding promptly to residents’ requests for assistance and following emergency protocols.
- Monitoring residents’ whereabouts and promptly notifying supervisors when needed.
- Fostering teamwork through positive interactions with colleagues.

Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with three to six months of related experience or training in direct service with older adults living with dementia. Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements:
- Must possess and maintain current state certification in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- The role may require standing, walking, sitting, and performing various physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds, interacting with residents and coworkers, and occasionally working weekends, evenings, or overnight shifts for coverage. There may be exposure to a variety of risks and hazards, including communicable diseases and chemical substances.
