AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for a “Class A Regional Driver” in Livonia, MI, it’s important to consider factors such as local cost of living, demand for drivers, and industry standards. As of 2023, the average hourly wage for regional truck drivers in Michigan typically ranges from $20 to $30, depending on experience, company, and specific job requirements. If the hourly rate you have falls within this range, it can be considered competitive, especially if it includes benefits such as bonuses, health insurance, and retirement plans, which are increasingly important in attracting and retaining drivers. If the rate is significantly lower than the average, it might be challenging to attract qualified candidates in a competitive job market.
