We are seeking qualified CDL-A Drivers to join our team at US Foods®, a leader in the foodservice industry. As part of our commitment to your success, we are offering a $12,000 retention bonus for qualified candidates.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this role is $25.55 per hour, with potential increases based on relevant experience, education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other applicable factors. Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow you to be home daily.
  • Typical schedule consists of four 12-hour shifts per week.
  • Saturday deliveries are often required.
  • Vacation coverage can necessitate some night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to ensure timely deliveries to customers.
  • Unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, placing items in designated storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and secure the necessary signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Provide professional customer service to enhance client experiences.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, or pull products ranging from 20 to 80+ lbs. during each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions, with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid CDL Class A issued by your state of legal residence, including necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (in any industry) or three months in the food or beverage delivery industry is required.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is preferred and may be required in specific locations.
  • Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English, including understanding traffic signs, responding to inquiries, and entering information accurately on reports.
