Schedule:

  • Approximately 85% of driver routes are home daily.
  • Standard schedule is typically 4 days on, 12 hours each day.
  • Saturday deliveries may be required.
  • Coverage for driver vacations can include night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, ensuring proper placement in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify the accuracy of each delivery with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to enhance client experiences.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling products weighing between 20 to 80+ lbs. repeatedly throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions, making frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse*.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • At least six months of commercial driving experience or three months of experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry is required.
  • Preference for candidates who can operate a manual transmission, as it may be required in specific locations.
  • Proficient in reading and communicating in English, capable of engaging in conversation, understanding traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and entering information on reports.
