Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for home daily.
  • Typical schedule is 4 days a week, 12 hours per day.
  • Saturday deliveries may be required.
  • Vacation coverage may include some night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Efficiently unload products from the trailer using equipment such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks, placing them in designated storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers when required.
  • Provide professional customer service to enhance overall client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing between 20 to 80+ lbs. repeatedly throughout each shift.
  • Comfort with driving and working in adverse weather conditions and making frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is mandatory.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Possess a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence, with appropriate endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months specifically in the food and/or beverage delivery sector is required.
  • Preferred ability to operate a manual transmission, which may be necessary at certain locations.
  • Proficiency in reading and communicating in English, including understanding traffic signs and responding to official inquiries.
