Schedule:

  • Approximately 85% of driver routes allow for daily home time.
  • Typical schedule consists of four 12-hour shifts.
  • Weekend deliveries are often required.
  • Coverage for driver vacations may include night routes and overnight hotel accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company trucks to deliver products to customers within scheduled times.
  • Efficiently unload products using equipment such as a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, placing goods in designated storage areas.
  • Confirm delivery accuracy with customers and secure necessary signatures.
  • Process collections and payments from customers when needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively throughout each shift.
  • Comfort in driving and working under inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence with required endorsements and DOT qualifications is mandatory.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (regardless of industry) OR three months of experience specifically in the food and/or beverage delivery sector is required.
  • Proficiency in operating manual transmissions is preferred and may be essential at certain locations.
  • Must possess strong English communication skills—capable of conversing, understanding traffic signs, responding to inquiries, and entering information on documents.
