Job description:

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned areas within the facility.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
  • No prior experience is required, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service is advantageous.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties for buildings and facilities.
  • Adhere to procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to ensure floors and fixtures are not damaged.
  • Notify the Manager regarding the necessity for minor or major repairs, or enhancements to the building’s operating systems.
  • Foster effective communication and collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and supervisory staff.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machinery, and equipment.
  • Move items such as cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment for thorough cleaning, either manually or utilizing hand trucks.
  • Clean interior glass partitions, windows, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
  • Wash and replace blinds as needed.
  • Collect and dispose of trash effectively.
  • Perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping sidewalks, raking leaves, mowing grass, and snow removal, as required.
  • Clean and disinfect tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food service areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and supply levels in restrooms.
