Job description:

Days: Monday to Friday
Time: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Pay: $16.00 per hour

The Cleaner is responsible for the routine cleaning and maintenance of an assigned area, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • No prior experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service.
  • At least one year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks for buildings and facilities.
  • Adhere to the prescribed procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Inform the Manager of any minor or major repairs or updates needed for building operating systems.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
  • Follow all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures set forth by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Move furniture, cabinets, boxes, and equipment as necessary for cleaning purposes, utilizing hand trucks when needed.
  • Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
  • Wash and replace blinds as needed.
  • Gather and dispose of trash.
  • Perform incidental seasonal tasks such as sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, and snow removal.
  • Wipe and clean surfaces in food areas, including tabletops and chairs.
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
