This position is essential in creating cleaner and healthier environments for our clients’ buildings and grounds through the following key responsibilities:

Duties:

  • Execute all cleaning tasks for facilities utilizing ServiceMaster products, tools, and established procedures.
  • Cleaning responsibilities encompass sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, and the organization and movement of furniture and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols by using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
  • Manage the opening and locking of facilities and ensure compliance with security system protocols as required.
  • Previous experience (1-2 years) as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • On-the-job training will be provided for candidates demonstrating a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience within a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school setting is beneficial.
  • The ability to be adaptable, operate in a fast-paced environment, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is imperative.
  • Contribute positively to the work climate with a friendly demeanor and support the team’s objectives by arriving on time, dressed in uniform, and being a reliable team member.
  • Exhibit respect and understanding toward co-workers and clients.
  • Possess the capacity to work independently while being focused on delivering quality results.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

  • The role requires constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, overhead reaching, and forward reaching, with the ability to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
  • Competency in reading and following cleaning instructions is essential.
  • Knowledge of differentiating between various cleaning products and their uses is required.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Saturday
