This position is vital for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customers’ buildings and grounds through the performance of the following essential duties and responsibilities.

Duties:

  • Execute all cleaning responsibilities for facilities using designated ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
  • Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, polishing, managing trash, cleaning windows, and moving furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Open and secure facilities, managing the security system as necessary.
  • While 1-2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is advantageous, it is not mandatory; on-the-job training is provided for candidates demonstrating a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience in a professional janitorial environment, including offices, hotels, hospitals, or schools, is a plus.
  • Must possess the ability to be flexible, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere through a pleasant demeanor and strong team collaboration, adhering to uniform standards and demonstrating punctuality and reliability.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

Schedule:

  • Two positions available
  • Monday through Friday
  • 5 hours each evening, available anytime after 5 PM
