Doctors of Physical Therapy is actively seeking a Clinic Director to uphold our commitment to exceptional patient care standards through personalized, one-on-one interactions while fostering meaningful relationships with both patients and team members. In this leadership role, you will oversee the clinic’s daily operations and provide patient treatment with the support of key team members, including:
- Front Office Coordinator: Manages front desk operations, patient appointments, and new patient registrations.
- Technician-Aides: Assist therapists with patient care and related needs under supervision.
- Corporate Billing Department: Handles insurance verifications and patient billing inquiries.
- Marketing Department: Develops marketing materials and manages corporate social media presence and advertising initiatives.
- Business Development Team: Facilitates and drives referrals to the clinic.
- Human Resources Department: Oversees recruitment efforts, hiring processes, and employee benefits administration.
- Education Director: Provides clinics with opportunities for education, continuing education units (CEUs), clinical instructor (CI) opportunities, and mentorship programs.

Responsibilities as Clinic Director Include:
- Supervise and mentor all clinical staff (including PT/OTs, PTAs, aides, and front desk personnel), promoting a collaborative environment where each team member feels valued and empowered.
- Meet or surpass clinical objectives related to clinical and operational performance metrics.
- Submit weekly reports to the Director of Operations regarding clinical performance.
- Cultivate relationships with physicians and referral sources in collaboration with the Business Development team to facilitate clinic growth.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives with team members for effective community outreach.
- Build and maintain relationships with patients and the local community.
- Communicate professionally with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, insurance companies, third-party payers, case managers, and DPT team members.
- Monitor clinic performance in relation to budget expectations and adjust staff clinical hours to meet variations in patient volume efficiently.
- Oversee all compliance, appearance, and maintenance aspects of the physical clinic.
- Stay apprised of contemporary physical therapy practices through educational workshops and continuing education opportunities.
In addition to your managerial responsibilities, your clinical duties will encompass the following:
- Conduct initial physical therapy evaluations in accordance with APTA standards.
- Develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient’s needs based on initial evaluation findings.
- Understand reimbursement requirements from various insurance carriers to create superior clinical programs conducive to patient success.
- Exercise compliance excellence by:
- Establishing short- and long-term goals for patients.
- Implementing individualized plans of care.
- Providing thorough therapy treatment that enhances patient well-being and functionality.
- Regularly reporting patient progress to referring physicians and other professionals involved in the patient’s ongoing treatment.
- Designing and documenting home exercise plans to maximize the efficacy of physical therapy.
- Planning and executing patient discharges.
