Job Title: Clinical Educator – Registered Nurse (per-diem) – Columbus, OH

Company: IQVIA

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay: $37 – 39 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $37 to $39 for a per-diem Clinical Educator – Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH, falls within a competitive range for this role, especially considering the per-diem nature of the position, which typically offers higher pay rates to account for lack of benefits and job security. As of 2023, clinical educators can expect salaries between $30 to $50 per hour nationally, influenced by factors such as experience, education, and specific healthcare setting. Given Ohio’s cost of living and the demand for skilled nursing professionals, this rate appears to be aligned with or slightly below the higher end of market standards, making it a reasonable offer while still attractive for the right candidate.

– Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to clients during and after in-service assignments.

Job Requirements:
– Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
– Active RN license is mandatory.
– Minimum of 2+ years of experience in ICU, Oncology, ER, or critical care units; this experience must have occurred within the past 5 years.

– Proficiency with basic software programs is required.
– Experience with IV pumps is desirable but not mandatory.
– Super-user or pump education experience is preferred but not required.
– Intermediate computer skills are essential (comfortable with basic software programs).
– Ability to collaborate effectively in a group setting, exhibiting strong professional acumen.

This position offers a flexible schedule, travel opportunities, and the chance to grow and explore new career avenues while earning supplemental income and gaining insight into the medical device industry. Duties may include compliance with client requirements for on-site services, including full COVID-19 vaccination.
