Job description:
The Sales Outfitter is responsible for executing a variety of selling and customer service activities, which include promptly greeting and acknowledging all customers in a courteous manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing essential information, assistance, and guidance to customers.
Essential Functions:
- Uphold a strong commitment to providing world-class customer service, ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all patrons.
- Demonstrate products to customers effectively.
- Replenish products on shelves as necessary, adhering to merchandising guidelines.
- Maintain expertise in product knowledge through ongoing training.
- Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain accurate pricing and signage.
- Assist with seasonal merchandise placement and reorganization.
- Restock merchandise as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area, well-stocked with supplies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Deliver a legendary experience for every customer consistently by:
- Identifying and assessing customer needs,
- Making product recommendations based on evaluations,
- Promoting programs, including but not limited to CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in calculating figures such as discounts and making change for customers.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and colleagues.
- Effectively establish and maintain working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
- Competence in operating a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
- Occasionally climb ladders, stairs, and ramps.
- Constantly communicate with others to exchange information.
