Role Summary
The Team Member will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for our members by providing a high level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome members, prospective members, and guests while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Manage all front desk activities, including:
    • Answering phone inquiries courteously and assisting callers with various questions.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Updating members’ accounts as needed.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, and escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager when necessary.
    • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills.
  • A strong passion for fitness and health.
  • An upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills; capable of engaging positively and professionally with members and colleagues, while exceeding their expectations.
  • Strong listening abilities with a knack for empathy and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions, utilizing appropriate behavior and language.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
