CNC / Swiss Machinist – Cleveland, Ohio – JOB 25-01034
Salary Range: $21.00 – $28.00/HR
Permanent Position with Benefits
3rd Shift – 4 / 10 Hour Days (3) Day Weekend

A growing manufacturing firm in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking experienced CNC Swiss Machinists to join their team on the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary to read blueprints and work instructions, set up, load, and edit CNC programs, as well as operate CNC machines for milling, drilling, reaming, and tapping components.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma, GED, or higher level of education is required, along with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in setting up and operating a Swiss CNC machine.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, as well as both written and verbal work instructions, is essential.
  • The candidate must be adept at downloading CNC programs from the network server, editing programs as necessary, selecting and loading tooling, installing fixtures, and setting reference points for programs. Adjustments should be made to ensure compliance with part specifications.
  • The applicant will be responsible for inspecting and measuring machined parts using various gauges, such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, depth micrometers, and surface plates with height gauges.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary, including the ability to perform decimal/fraction conversions and read measuring tools effectively.
