The opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is seeking enthusiastic and attentive seasonal Cocktail Servers to join our team at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. In the role of Cocktail Server, you will play a vital part in enhancing the guest experience by delivering exceptional service with every interaction. If you possess a passion for customer satisfaction and have a strong knowledge of wines, beer, and cocktails, this position is ideal for you.
Please note that this is a tipped position, and the stated hourly pay does not encompass the potential earnings from tips.
Pay: $11.43 / hour

What will you do?
– Communicate drink specials, respond to inquiries regarding available beverages, and take beverage orders
– Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, check identification, and adhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
– Enter orders into the point-of-sale system for Bartenders to prepare
– Retrieve drinks orders upon completion and deliver them to guests
– Monitor and follow up with guests to address any additional service needs
– Accept and process payments or direct customers to the cashier
More about you
– Must be at least 19 years of age
– Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names
– Basic math skills
– No prior experience or diploma required
Physical requirements
– Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
– Ability to lift, balance, and carry trays weighing up to 35 lbs
– Sufficient visual acuity and hearing to accurately take orders and prepare bills
