Job description:
The primary responsibility of the Estimator is to ensure an exceptional customer experience by creating accurate estimates and coordinating repair needs. This role involves thorough communication with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator will meticulously assess vehicle damage, documenting necessary repairs and parts replacements in the damage appraisal. A key aspect of this position is collaborating with team members to achieve the repair facility’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring a seamless alignment in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently document and update every customer interaction with relevant details.
- Provide customers with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and delivering outstanding service.
- Ensure adherence to all insurance client requirements, processes, and metrics.
- Maintain compliance with the WOW Operating Way regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, communication, and delivery.
- Relay customer requests and needs effectively to the appropriate team members.
- Greet customers warmly and enthusiastically in person and over the phone.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of required insurance programs and procedures.
- Participate in daily production walks with management as required.
- Offer support to team members when necessary.
- Engage in monthly health and safety and staff meetings, when applicable.
- Attend training sessions and workshops as recommended by the Store Manager.
- Drive performance to maintain the store’s KPIs.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Knowledge of repairs and OEM guidelines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Resourceful in finding information and answers.
- Basic computer skills.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in compliance for Direct Repair Programs (DRPs).
- Willingness to complete I-CAR training.
- Valid driver’s license.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively seek information and resolve issues.
- Strong basic computer skills.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in DRP compliance.
- Commitment to completing I-CAR training.
- Valid driver’s license.

Compensation Details:
Compensation for this position is commission-based, calculated according to location, revenue metrics, sales, and individual performance, in adherence to the terms outlined in the compensation plan. Estimated earnings range from $50,000 to $100,000+ per year. In cases where total compensation in a pay period falls below minimum wage, clocked hours will be compensated with a guarantee of applicable local or state minimum wage, whichever is higher.
This position may also qualify for bonus opportunities linked to individual or organizational initiatives.
