Job description:
The Estimator is primarily responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by creating accurate estimates and coordinating repair needs for customers. This role involves seamless communication with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator will meticulously assess vehicle damage, document necessary repairs and parts replacements, and collaborate with all team members to meet the repair facility’s key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Document all customer interactions thoroughly and efficiently, ensuring relevant details are captured.
- Provide customers with timely and accurate information, guiding them through the repair process while delivering excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes, and metrics.
- Adhere to the WOW Operating Way’s protocols regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, communication, and delivery.
- Communicate customer requests and needs to the appropriate team members.
- Positively engage with customers both in-person and over the phone.
- Maintain knowledge of all required insurance programs and procedures.
- Participate in daily “production walks” with the management team as needed.
- Offer support to team members when required.
- Attend monthly health and safety meetings and staff meetings if necessary.
- Engage in training sessions and workshops as recommended by the Store Manager.
- Maximize role performance to uphold store KPIs.
- Adhere to the company’s core values of honesty, integrity, and respect.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Proficient understanding of repairs and OEM guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Capability to independently research and find solutions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Minimum of one year of experience in compliance for Direct Repair Programs (DRPs).
- Willingness to complete I-CAR training.
- A valid driver’s license.

Compensation Details:
This position includes a commission structure based on location, revenue metrics, sales, and individual performance, as outlined in the compensation plan. Estimated earnings range from $50,000 to $100,000+ per year.
