Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a distinguished portfolio of premium Commercial Lines clients, delivering tailored strategic advice and exemplary service.
- Streamline departmental workflows to drive operational excellence, enhance efficiency, and optimize outcomes.
- Work in close collaboration with the Director of Commercial Lines to oversee daily operations and ensure the seamless execution of processes.
- Identify and seize growth opportunities, including cross-selling initiatives and expanding coverage options to offer comprehensive solutions to our clients.
- Advocate for agency objectives and lead initiatives to achieve performance milestones while maintaining high standards of excellence.
- Enhance the client service experience, ensuring satisfaction and cultivating long-lasting relationships.
- Analyze monthly performance reports to derive insights that inform strategic decision-making and align with departmental goals.
- Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with insurance carriers to further the agency’s interests and bolster operational success.
- Foster a high-performance team culture by utilizing effective leadership to inspire and empower team members toward shared success.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and training to optimize the utilization of the agency management system and carrier platforms.
- Participate in staffing decisions, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations, to build a skilled and capable team.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required to promote success across the department and the organization.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance with a demonstrated record of success.
- An active MA Property & Casualty (P&C) License.
- Proficiency in Applied Epic is highly desirable.
- A self-motivated, accountable mindset with the ability to excel in a dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach emphasizing problem-solving and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools.
