Job description:
The Commercial Sales Manager (CSM) is tasked with driving sales within their designated AutoZone location. This role involves fostering and sustaining positive relationships with commercial customers through effective management of product acquisition and delivery, delivering exceptional ongoing customer service, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of parts and inventory. The CSM is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations by consistently providing WOW! Customer Service to all AutoZone commercial accounts, embodying the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

– Achieve sales growth and meet targets by effectively developing and maintaining commercial sales, including cultivating new accounts through direct face-to-face and telephone interactions with potential customers.
– Serve as the primary liaison for commercial customers, ensuring open lines of communication between AutoZone and its commercial clientele.
– Facilitate the efficient delivery of products by strategically planning delivery routes and overseeing drivers, ensuring that all necessary delivery documentation is accurately generated.
– Act as a consultative partner to commercial customers by leveraging expert knowledge of automotive parts and the industry, conducting thorough research to ensure customers receive the right part at the right price.
– Maintain detailed records and billing for commercial accounts, process returns, and reconcile accounts as needed.
– Regularly visit commercial accounts to guarantee service levels and delivery commitments are met. Contribute to a collaborative environment by assisting both customers and team members across various business operations.
– Build and uphold strong relationships with management personnel, actively participating in the training and development of drivers, commercial specialists, and other team members as directed by the Store Manager or District Manager.
– Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with operational safety practices, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
– Follow established protocols for accident and claim reporting, adhere to safe driving policies, and verify that all Commercial Zoners maintain approved driver status.
– Ensure vehicles are kept in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements:

– High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
– Basic knowledge of automotive parts is essential.
– Strong leadership qualities accompanied by excellent communication skills, decisive judgment, and solid sales capabilities.
– Physical ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
– Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet business demands, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
