Job description:
The Commercial Sales Manager (CSM) plays a vital role in driving commercial sales at their designated AutoZone location. The CSM is tasked with developing and nurturing positive relationships with commercial customers by overseeing the acquisition and delivery of products, providing exceptional ongoing customer service, and maintaining a thorough understanding of automotive parts and inventory. The CSM strives to exceed customer expectations by delivering outstanding service to all AutoZone commercial accounts and embodying our commitment to excellence every day.

Key Responsibilities:
– Drive sales growth by effectively managing and developing existing commercial accounts, while also identifying and acquiring new accounts through direct engagement and outreach.
– Serve as the primary liaison for commercial customers, ensuring continuous and transparent communication between AutoZone and its commercial clientele.
– Plan and manage delivery routes to guarantee efficient product distribution, and generate all necessary documentation for each delivery.
– Act as a consultative partner by leveraging in-depth automotive knowledge and conducting research to ensure customers receive the appropriate parts at competitive prices.
– Maintain accurate records and billing for commercial accounts, including processing returns and reconciling any discrepancies.
– Regularly visit commercial accounts to ensure services and deliveries meet commitments. Contribute to a collaborative ‘one-team’ environment by supporting customers and fellow AutoZoners in various business initiatives.
– Establish and nurture strong relationships with the management team, assisting in the training and development of drivers, commercial specialists, and other AutoZoners as directed by the Store Manager or District Manager.
– Uphold a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with established practices, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
– Follow proper procedures for accidents and claims, adhere to safe driving regulations, and ensure that all Commercial Zoners possess approved driver status.
– Maintain company vehicles effectively, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements:
– High School Diploma or equivalent.
– Basic understanding of automotive parts is essential.
– Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills, strong decision-making capabilities, and effective sales techniques.
– Capacity to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
– Flexibility to work varied hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed to meet business demands.
