Job description:

Village Green is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Sales Consultant team, serving as the first point of contact at our award-winning apartment communities. If you possess persuasive sales and marketing abilities, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a strong commitment to customer service, this opportunity may be ideal for you.

The position offers an hourly rate of $17–$19, supplemented by quarterly bonuses of up to 15% along with comprehensive benefits. The schedule will include occasional overnight shifts.

Position Overview
As a concierge, you will function as both a customer service representative and sales consultant. The role operates on a 24/7 basis at select locations, with evening shifts available at others, tailored to meet the specific needs of each site. Your fundamental responsibilities will include acting as a hospitality ambassador, serving as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, prospects, and vendors. You will address resident requests, inquiries, and needs, act as a liaison to the management office, and assist in apartment rentals, including providing information, conducting tours, and handling calls when the leasing office is closed or as the needs arise.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Greet residents and guests in a courteous and welcoming manner upon their arrival.
  • Familiarize yourself with community attractions and local amenities to provide recommendations when requested.
  • Distribute brochures, floor plans, and other informational materials to clients.
  • Complete guest cards, offer mini tours, and represent leasing efforts during off-hours.
  • Retrieve packages for residents as needed.
  • Serve refreshments to residents and guests.
  • Maintain the Concierge Binder and ensure all information is up to date.
  • Keep the front lobby stocked with magazines, collateral, maps, transportation schedules, menus, and other materials as specified in the binder layout.
  • Utilize the Internet to gather both local and broader information for residents and guests.
  • Ensure the front desk, lobby area, and storage closets are clean and organized as applicable.
  • Prepare incident reports and associated documentation.
  • Adhere to established fair housing policies.
  • Communicate with co-workers, management, residents, vendors, and external contacts courteously and professionally.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding co-workers, management, owners, both past and present residents, vendors, and all external contacts.
