However, generally speaking, Consumer Engagement Managers typically earn between $25 to $50 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, education, and the specific industry segment. In Detroit, a competitive rate would align with the local cost of living and industry standards, often reflecting the median salary for similar roles in marketing and customer engagement. Job description:

The Consumer Engagement Manager (CEM) plays a pivotal role in managing and executing Monster Energy’s brand portfolio sampling and local marketing initiatives within a designated market. Reporting to the Regional Field Manager, the CEM is tasked with enhancing brand awareness and fostering consumer loyalty. This position oversees a team of part-time Ambassadors and, in certain geographies, a Senior Ambassador. The CEM’s responsibilities are divided between administrative tasks—including scheduling and recaps—and hands-on market engagement, coaching, merchandising, and sampling support with the Ambassador team. It is expected that the CEM spends approximately 50% to 70% of their time actively engaging in the market.

In addition to providing sampling support at significant national and local events, the CEM will identify and cultivate additional sampling opportunities tailored to the local market.
