Job Description
Job Title: Cook
Company: Aimbridge Hospitality
Location: Portage, MI
Pay: $16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $16 for a Cook position in Portage, MI, is generally considered competitive, though it can vary based on the specific duties, experience level, and establishment type (e.g., fast food vs. fine dining). As of recent data, the average hourly wage for cooks in Michigan typically ranges from $12 to $20, with variations based on local demand and the cost of living. While $16 falls within this spectrum and may be appealing for entry-level positions, more experienced cooks or those in specialized roles (like sous chefs) might expect higher compensation. Overall, the rate is reasonable for Portage, but it could be less competitive in urban areas or high-demand restaurant settings.
