Job Description
Job Title: Cook
Company: Aimbridge Hospitality
Location: Portage, MI
Pay: $16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of my last update, an hourly rate of $16 for a Cook position in Portage, MI, is somewhat competitive but may be on the lower end compared to industry standards. According to various salary surveys and job postings in similar regions, Cook positions typically range from $12 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and specific work environment (such as fast food vs. fine dining). Additionally, factors such as cost of living and demand for culinary workers in the area can influence wage expectations. Overall, while $16 may be acceptable for entry-level positions, it may not attract experienced candidates seeking higher compensation in a tightening labor market.
