Job Title: COOK (CATERING) (FULL TIME)

Company: Compass Group

Location: Ypsilanti, MI

Pay: $17 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $17 for a full-time “Cook (Catering)” role in Ypsilanti, MI, appears to be on the lower end of the scale when considering the broader industry standards. As of 2023, catering cooks in Michigan typically earn between $15 to $25 per hour depending on experience, specific job responsibilities, and the type of catering service. The $17 rate aligns closely with entry-level positions, but may not be competitive for more experienced cooks or those working in high-demand catering environments. Additionally, factors such as benefits, work environment, and job security also play crucial roles in determining overall compensation attractiveness.
