AI Pay Analysis: To accurately assess the competitiveness of the hourly rate for the “Cook” position in Saint Joseph, MI, I would need the specific hourly wage figure you’re referring to. Generally, the average hourly rate for cooks can vary widely based on experience, type of establishment, and regional market conditions. As of my last update, rates for cooks in Michigan typically range from $12 to $18 per hour, with variations based on skill level, such as entry-level positions earning towards the lower end, and experienced chefs or specialized cooks making higher rates. If the rate you have falls within or slightly above this range, it would generally be considered competitive for the local market. Please provide the specific hourly rate for a more tailored analysis.
