Job Description
Job Title: Cook
Company: Corewell Health
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $16.43 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of 2023, an hourly rate of $16.43 for a “Cook” position in Grand Rapids, MI, is generally considered competitive but slightly below the average for the region. In Michigan, the average hourly wage for cooks varies based on skill level and experience, typically ranging from $15 to $20 for entry-level positions and up to $25 or more for skilled cooks or sous chefs. While $16.43 sits within the lower end of this spectrum, it may still attract entry-level applicants or those seeking part-time work, especially considering factors like local cost of living and the labor market. However, to attract more experienced talent, employers may need to offer higher wages or additional benefits to remain competitive in a growing culinary scene.
