Job Description
Job Title: COOK (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
Company: Compass Group
Location: Dearborn, MI
Pay: $17.6 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17.60 for a “COOK (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)” position in Dearborn, MI, is generally competitive, though it may vary depending on factors such as experience, type of establishment, and specific responsibilities. In Michigan, as of 2023, average hourly wages for cooks typically range from approximately $15 to $22, with those in higher-end restaurants or specialized roles earning more. Considering this, $17.60 is on the lower to middle end of the scale, making it reasonable for entry-level positions while slightly below the median for more experienced cooks. Overall, while it is a viable wage, it might not be fully competitive for seasoned cooks or those in high-demand culinary settings.
