Job Title: COOK (FULL TIME)

Company: Compass Group

Location: Blanchard, MI

Pay: $14.75 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $14.75 for a full-time cook position in Blanchard, MI, falls slightly below the national average for similar roles, which typically ranges from $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, location, and establishment type. In Michigan, the average hourly wage for cooks can vary, but it is often around $14 to $16 per hour as of late 2023. While this rate may be competitive for entry-level positions or smaller establishments, it may not attract experienced cooks or those seeking better compensation in larger or higher-end restaurants. Thus, while the rate is on the lower end of the spectrum, it may still be accepted in this specific area, particularly if supplemented by benefits or job stability.
