Job Description
Job Title: COOK (FULL TIME)
Company: Compass Group
Location: Blanchard, MI
Pay: $14.75 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $14.75 for a full-time cook position in Blanchard, MI, appears to be below average compared to national and regional standards. While entry-level cooks may earn around this amount, many experienced cooks in similar roles typically earn between $15 to $20 per hour, depending on skill level and specific responsibilities. Additionally, the cost of living in Michigan also suggests that the pay may not sufficiently support a living wage for individuals working full time. Therefore, this rate would likely be considered non-competitive for a full-time cooking role in the area, particularly given rising wages in the food service industry.
