Job Description
Job Title: Cook
Company: Grand Pines Assisted Living Center
Location: Grand Haven, MI
Pay: $15 – 17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 to $17 for a Cook position in Grand Haven, MI, appears to be somewhat competitive, though it falls on the lower end of the scale when compared to national averages for similar roles. According to recent data, the average hourly wage for cooks in Michigan typically ranges from $15 to $20, depending on experience and the type of establishment (e.g., fast food vs. fine dining). In Grand Haven specifically, which has a mix of tourism and local dining options, the pay may align more closely with entry-level positions rather than those requiring more experienced cooks. Therefore, while this range may attract applicants, it might not suffice for retaining skilled cooks in a competitive job market.
